Centre for Cities Transport Question Time (December 09)
Linstock helped to organise and film the recent Centre for Cities Transport Question Time, in association with Regional Cities East. The event was chaired by Dermot Finch, Chief Executive, Centre for Cities with opening remarks from Neil Darwin, Director, Regional Cities East. On the panel were Transport Minister Rt Hon Sadiq Khan MP, Shadow Transport Minister Stephen Hammond MP and Liberal Democrat MP David Howarth. You can watch edited highlights of the event here.
National Ethical Investment Week (November 09)
The beginning of month marked the start of National Ethical Investment Week (8-14 November), leading from the front Linstock helped promote the importance of green and ethical investments. The event was coordinated by UKSIF the sustainable investment and finance association and sponsored by; Aviva Investors, CCLA, The Cooperative Financial Services and Henderson New Star. Throughout the week investors had the chance to gain insight into the benefits of green and ethical investment. Government put youth messages to rap music (October 09)
Linstock has helped client the Office of National Statistics launch an innovative campaign using artist Ghetts, real name Justin Jude Clarke Samuel, an influential and progressive rapper in the grime scene. Ghetts has produced an inspiring track called Invisible to encourage his peers, young black men, to participate in the 2011 Census and 2009 Census Rehearsal. The rehearsal is currently taking place in three areas of England and Wales, including Newham, where Linstock is actively engaging with the black and minority ethnic community.
Mortgage Intermediary trade body hits the airwaves (October 09)
Linstock client Robert Sinclair, Director of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, this week hit the studios to respond to plans from the regulator to clampdown on mortgage lending and consumer borrowing. Robert also led the response from the industry in the national papers. Treloar’s Blazes a Trail With New Mobile Assessment Service (Sept 09)
Linstock helped Treloar School and College run a PR campaign to raise awareness of the UK’s first mobile assessment service for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. Through coverage in the specialist education, trade and regional press, we helped to position Treloar’s at the forefront of disability issues. AIFA wins Trade Body of the Year Award (July ‘09)
Praised for its work on behalf of members to ensure that the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) benefits the IFA profession, long standing Linstock client AIFA was awarded Trade Body of the Year at the annual Public Affairs News Awards.

Office of National Statistics awards Linstock Communications 2011 census brief (July ‘09)
PR Week reported that Linstock was awarded a contract to promote the 2011 census to black and ethnic minority groups. Linstock is on the Central Office of Information roster for communicating with BME audiences.

Linstock appoints Keith Brookbank as new Director (June ‘09)
Linstock Communications has hired Keith Brookbank as a director to strengthen its financial services practice. Keith was previously a director at City agency Powerscourt, having joined in 2007 from Kreab Gavin Anderson.
