Bridget Hargreave, Consultant
Bridget joined Linstock Communications in January 2008 and works across financial services, regeneration and third sector clients including the East of England Development Agency, Igloo regeneration fund, Living Places (a partnership of public bodies helping to create thriving communities through culture and sport), AIFA and Interactive Investor.
Bridget is an experienced communications consultant with a background in parliament, the civil service and consultancy. She has advised clients including the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management and the Carnegie UK Trust on political, stakeholder and media relations; managed a public affairs programme for the Scout Association in its Centenary Year; and planned and implemented regional and national media campaigns for Endsleigh Insurance. Bridget also worked on communications for National Grid Property’s programme to remediate former gas sites. In 2007 she managed communications for the BBC’s Digital Switchover Help Scheme when the first area in the UK made the switch.
Before moving into consultancy, Bridget spent over three years in the Defra press office, covering issues including fisheries, biodiversity and GMOs, and latterly managing the department’s regional communications. She also spent two years in the House of Commons as a researcher to a prominent MP, working on issues such as the Transport Bill, local campaigns and the 2001 General Election.
