Jon Bennett, Director

Jon is a founding director of Linstock Communications and heads the firm's regeneration and economic development practice. He has more than ten years experience in corporate communications and public affairs. His clients at Linstock include the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), Regional Cities East, the John Lewis Partnership and Norwich Union.

Jon was previously national communications manager for England's Regional Development Agencies (RDAs). He helped the nine RDAs handle communication issues surrounding job creation, enterprise, skills and workforce development, physical regeneration, sustainability and tourism. Jon has expertise in helping trade bodies and partnerships agree and work towards common goals. He devises and implements campaigns that work at local, regional and national levels.

When the Urban Task Force reformed in November 2005, Jon was asked to edit their report and promote its ideas to Government and regeneration professionals.

An Associate Member of the Institution of Economic Development, Jon holds the CAM Higher Diploma and a Geography degree from Cambridge University, where he specialised in urban development and economics.
